Below are some galleries with a few selected photos from each decade that the band have been performing.

Apologies for the quality of some of the pictures, but we hope you will still enjoy seeing them.

The band chooses a new costume every year, with the emphasis being on fun.

After their first appearance in the 1963 Romsey Carnival, the band decided to make it a permanent fixture.

Choosing a different theme each year (with a few repeats), the band went from strength to strength..

From Roman Soldiers to Matadors, and from Bees to Frogs the costumes were always colourful and great fun.

The emphasis was always on fun, and the band included many comedic antics in their display.

This often meant having to play while lying down!

It’s hard to tell, but I think the theme must have been pirates!
